Relaxing holiday living

Mäkitorppa is a roomy loghouse built in 2003 from logs originally from a building in Kittilä from the 1940's. It offers traditional Lappish atmosphere complemented with the amenities of today. The living room has a large fireplace and a wood oven, and is next to the modern kitchen perfectly fit for cooking. Alternatively, Tiikku's Tii Pii -catering service delivers delicious Lappish delicacies by order. The living room table is great for delicious dinners or meetings. Coffee made in a real pot is a custom of the house!

Mäkitorppa has 4 roomy bedrooms (sleeping capacity 9 people), each furnished and decorated diversely - sure to remind you of Grandma's old house! There's an inner balcony, good for listening to your favourite music for example. The house has 3 cheerful bathrooms (each equipped with e.g. blowdryers) for preparing yourself after sauna for the magical nights of Lapland…

The Levi Center is only a few kilometers away, and the snowmobile and ski tracks run right next to the house.

The big yard - with spaces for e.g. many snowmobiles - also houses the Little-Torppa cabin for 2 people.
